Prayers needed for all of those in central Italy as a 6.6 earthquake has hit the region, destroying the 15th century Basilica of St Benedict in Norcia. The official Norcia website reports, “The monks are all safe, but our hearts go immediately to those affected, and the priests of the monastery are searching for any who may need the last rights”.
