The diocese's Income Generation initiative supports parishes in developing sustainable, cheerful giving so that our mission can continue to flourish. The Friends Scheme raises revenue for five key diocesan projects: Education, Youth, SPRED, Sick & Retired Clergy, and Ecclesiastical Students — join by completing a registration form at the Diocesan Office or via Online Giving above.

This fund is built from the fourth Sunday of Lent collection (75% to SCIAF, 25% to diocesan charitable works). Applications must be received by 4:30pm on the first Monday of February, May, August and November, and are reviewed on the first Monday of the following month. St Conval's Cemetery & The Art of Dying Well

The Catholic Church offers practical and spiritual support to those faced with the prospect of death via The Art of Dying Well. We believe that death opens the way to new life — in dying, we close our eyes for the last time here, in order to be able to really see for the first time there.

St Conval's Cemetery

Established in 1938, St Conval's Cemetery lies peacefully in the countryside between Barrhead and Paisley, with permanent staff onsite to help locate a loved one's Lair. The office is open Mon–Fri, 9.30am–2pm.

For burial enquiries pre-1938, contact Renfrewshire Council's Cemeteries Department on 0300 300 0380, or the church where the burial ceremony was held.
